Public Health Specialist

Are you skilled in planning, building consensus, and establishing good relationships with community partners, staff and the public? Do you enjoy developing and implementing community outreach activities that build connections and gather feedback to inform programs? If so, CG Public Health is seeking a Public Health Specialist to work alongside professionals at all levels while leading community health planning initiatives, contributing to the development of our department’s strategic plan, coordinating our academic partnerships and internship program, and organizing both general and targeted outreach events for our department. As a career, this is a highly visible position, presenting a significant opportunity to represent our county and showcase all public health key performance indicators to community members, leaders, partner organizations, and constituents.

The ideal candidate should be outgoing, organized, and skilled in communication, data, and reporting, able to work independently or in a team, and manage multiple tasks with little supervision. The individual in this position must be able to assume a wide range of responsibilities, provide timely responses to deadlines, and work well under pressure.
