CyncHealth/HIE Administrator

This position will serve as the HHS Vendor Manager for the statewide Health Information Exchange and Health Data Utility (HIE/HDU), and other assigned vendor management roles. The purpose of this position will be to foster and oversee the development, implementation, and operational matters of the vendor managed HIE/HDU.

Understands programmatic and technical requirements of HHS and stakeholder needs related to the HIE/HDU to manage both immediate and future cross-agency major/complex initiatives in collaboration with leadership personnel. Responsible for driving resolution of programmatic issues in collaboration with leadership personnel.

Provide enterprise oversight of large scale, complex immediate and long term HIE/HDU projects. Will assist in prioritizing projects as well as the standardization of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal regulations, data security and use regulations, and to eliminate duplication or competing resources or processes, as appropriate.

Continual collaboration with internal and external staff to assess feasibility of project timelines and implementation methodology. Including the assessment, availability, and alignment with various funding sources to manage an annual $12 – 20 million budget and provide justification to senior management for budget planning and allocation decisions.
