Society for Public Health Education - Iowa Chapter
The Iowa Society for Public Health Education (IASOPHE) is an IPHA section and a chapter of the National Society for Public Health Education. IASOPHE offers services and programs designed to enhance skills, improve knowledge and promote career development and networking among professional health educators and health education students. IASOPHE requires annual membership dues in addition to IPHA membership dues.
2010 Iowa Society for Public Health Education President/IPHA Section Chair
IASOPHE is a voluntary organization composed of professional health educators and health education students who reside in Iowa. Members are affiliated with a variety of public health settings including worksites, managed care, health care, schools, local and state health departments, and community-based organizations. The services and programs offered by IASOPHE are designed to enhance skills and improve knowledge as well as promote career development and networking.
National SOPHE is an independent, international professional association made up of a diverse membership of health education professionals and students. SOPHE promotes healthy behaviors, healthy communities, and a healthy environment through its membership, its network of local chapters, and its numerous partnerships with other organizations.
